Pharma-Ethics Health Research Ethics Committee is looking to fill the position of a
Senior Administrative Officer.
Minimum Qualifications
5 + years secretarial and administrative experience, preferably in research -or medical setting
The position requires a high level of attention to detail and organisation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good organisational skills and administrative abilities
Good interpersonal skills and an ability to maintain confidentiality are essential
Must have demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative in a dynamic environment
High-level knowledge of Microsoft applications, specifically Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook are required
Responsibilities:
Organise effective and efficient tracking procedures for each received proposal.
Prepare and maintain application documents.
Organise regular committee meetings.
Prepare, distribute, and maintain meeting agendas and arrange meeting logistics.
Maintain and archive documentation.
Provide the necessary administrative support for committee-related activities to the Manager Director of the committee, the chairperson of the committee and committee members.
Perform a pre-review of each submission to ensure adherence to administrative requirements.
Properly acknowledge, distribute, and keep files of all correspondence.
